Ba Da Bean Coloring Book is a digital colouring book with no rules beyond the line art. You pick a page from the set, get a palette, and fill it in - the line art itself separates the regions, so tapping or dragging inside an area only affects that area, and there is no way to spill into a neighbour by accident. That makes the same controls work with a mouse or a finger. The pages are scenes rather than single objects, so most of them have a foreground subject, a background, and a few small details, and the interesting decision is how much contrast to build between them: filling everything with the palette's strongest colours flattens the image, while saving them for one element makes it read. Colours can be swapped at any point and any region recoloured, so a page is never finished until you decide it is, and pages can be reopened later. A page takes five to fifteen minutes.
