Dark Dino Runner is a browser-based endless runner set in a darkened night landscape. You control a dinosaur character from a side-scrolling perspective, pressing the up arrow or spacebar to jump, the down arrow to duck, and a dash key to burst through certain low obstacles. Cacti, flying pterodactyls, and multi-block rock formations appear at increasing frequency as distance accumulates. The game tracks your score in meters traveled, with a bonus multiplier applied when you clear three consecutive obstacles without a duck or jump error. Visibility is reduced compared to a standard daytime runner, so reaction time must be sharper; a lamp-post collectible occasionally appears and briefly widens your light cone. There are no levels or checkpoints — one collision ends the run and resets your distance counter. Leaderboard scores are stored locally. Sessions last anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes depending on reflexes. The game runs directly in the browser at 60 fps with no download.
