KickAround Live is a browser soccer game that supports 1-player versus AI and local 2-player matches on the same keyboard. Matches run in short 3-minute halves, making a full game around six minutes. Player 1 uses WASD to move and the spacebar to kick or tackle; Player 2 uses the arrow keys and Enter. Kick direction is determined by the angle your player faces when the spacebar is pressed, so positioning before shooting is the core skill. The AI operates on three difficulty settings — Rookie, Pro, and Elite — with Elite opponents tracking the ball tightly and closing passing lanes. Scoring is straightforward: most goals at full time wins, with a sudden-death penalty round breaking ties. There are no unlock gates; all pitches and the two playable teams are available from the start. The field camera follows the ball, zooming out slightly during long passes to keep both players visible. Sessions run 10 to 15 minutes for a full match with both halves.
