Minecraft Hole IO is a browser-based competitive arena game with a block-art visual style. You control a square hole that moves across a flat pixelated map using WASD or arrow keys. Driving the hole over any object, including grass blocks, fences, trees, and structures, swallows it and incrementally grows the hole's radius. Larger holes can consume bigger objects and, critically, rival player holes smaller than your current size. Matches run for exactly 2 minutes against up to 8 opponents, and the player with the largest hole diameter at the end wins. Your size resets each new match. Strategy involves targeting dense clusters of small objects early to grow faster than opponents, then hunting smaller rival holes mid-match. The map contains fixed object zones with varying densities, rewarding players who learn the layout. Scores and a win-loss record persist across sessions in browser storage. No download is required. A single match lasts 2 minutes, making it well suited for short sessions, though multiple matches chain together quickly.
