Neon Velocity puts you in control of a cyberpunk runner who sprints, wall-jumps, and dashes across 50 handcrafted levels. Each level is a short gauntlet of laser grids, crumbling platforms, and patrolling drones. You dash directly into drones to destroy them rather than avoiding them, which keeps the momentum high. Controls are tight — left and right movement, a jump, and a directional dash — and the score condition is simply reaching the exit alive, with optional collectibles rewarding thorough play. The difficulty ramps sharply around level 15, where laser timing and back-to-back wall-jumps demand near-frame-perfect inputs. Rushing through rarely works; reading the pattern first, then committing to a clean run, is more reliable. Sessions are short — a single level takes under a minute once you know it — but expect repeated restarts on the harder stages. Players who enjoy tight platformers like Super Meat Boy will feel at home here, while casual players may find the later levels genuinely punishing without patience.
