Retro Street Fighter is a browser-based side-scrolling beat-em-up rendered in 2D pixel art, playable without download. You advance through a series of stages moving left to right, defeating waves of enemies before reaching a level boss. Your character performs punches, kicks, jump attacks, and combo strings using keyboard inputs, and the move list expands as you progress. Seven selectable difficulty settings determine enemy health, aggression, and spawn frequency, so beginners and experienced players can both find an appropriate challenge. Enemy types change across levels, introducing faster attackers, armored opponents, and ranged fighters that require different tactics. Health pickups appear between waves. A full playthrough on normal difficulty takes roughly 20 to 40 minutes. The pixel art style deliberately echoes arcade cabinets from the late 1980s and early 1990s in color palette and animation frame count.
