Rotating Bones 3D is a browser-based 3D puzzle platformer built around environmental rotation rather than character movement. You control the camera-and-world angle using arrow keys or on-screen buttons, which physically tilts the entire level so that Mr. Bones, a rolling skull, follows gravity into new positions. Each of the game's 20-plus levels is set inside a floating ruin filled with stone platforms, spike traps, collapsing bridges, and teleport gates. Three golden stars are hidden per level, and collecting all three unlocks a grade bonus. Physics calculations are visible and deliberate: a 90-degree rotation that clears one spike cluster may roll the skull directly into another hazard, so each turn requires forward planning of two or three moves. Difficulty increases steadily from tutorial levels that teach single-axis rotation to late levels requiring rapid sequential rotations under time pressure. No installation is needed. A single level takes 2 to 8 minutes depending on star collection, and the full game runs approximately 3 to 5 hours for a first completion.
