Staire Race is an arena race where you build your own ladder. Staircase plans scatter around the map, and collecting them is only half the job - you carry the boards to the platform walls and spend them building staircases upward, racing rivals climbing the same way. The tension is the gap between collecting and building: more boards in hand means taller stairs, but hands full of boards are hands not defending your route, and enemies holding more than you can body-block or shove you off half-built stairs. The map is vertical by design - the winner is whoever reaches and holds the top platform first, and the middle levels are contested ground where two builders' staircases cross. WASD or arrows steer, the mouse interacts with build points, and camera management matters more than in most arena games because a staircase behind you is invisible until it's above you. It plays like a race crossed with a micro-strategy game: the running is fast, but the winning is deciding where the stairs go.
