Stick Defenders is a merge-and-defend game where you place stickman units on a grid in front of your base. Drag two identical units together to combine them into a stronger fighter, building up a line of upgraded defenders before enemy waves arrive. Between waves you spend resources on wall repairs and new unit purchases, and a spin-the-wheel bonus occasionally drops extra coins or rare pieces. When the enemy cooldown timer expires the next wave pushes in, so you have a fixed window to reorganize before the pressure returns. The merge decisions are the core tension: spending coins on weaker units to fill gaps versus saving for a stronger single piece that could anchor your defense. Letting your front line go unmaintained is the most common way a run falls apart, since breached walls expose your base fast. Early waves are manageable with a loose formation, but mid-game requires deliberate placement and upgrade sequencing. Sessions typically run fifteen to thirty minutes before a difficult wave ends the run or progress stalls, making it a reasonable fit for players who enjoy light strategy with a quick feedback loop.
