tankroyale.io is a browser-based top-down multiplayer tank battle royale that runs without installation. Up to several dozen real players compete in a compact arena where a shrinking boundary forces constant engagement. You control your tank with WASD or arrow keys and aim your turret with the mouse, firing with left-click. Destroying enemies earns gold and medals; gold buys upgrades to fire rate, bullet speed, armor, and movement from an in-game shop accessible between respawns. The cartoony art style uses bold outlines and bright colors, but gameplay is competitive and punishing: you are eliminated in a handful of hits if you ignore cover. Matches typically last 3 to 8 minutes, making it easy to queue again immediately. Leaderboard standing is tracked per session. New players face experienced opponents from the first match, so expect a steep initial learning curve before upgrades and positioning intuition develop.
