Tanks of Liberty Online is a browser-based top-down tank shooter inspired by classic Battle City, expanded with procedurally generated maps and online multiplayer. Each session drops your tank into a grid-based arena where you must destroy enemy tanks and protect your base flag. Maps generate new layouts every match, varying wall configurations, open corridors, and chokepoints across urban rubble, forest, and industrial tile sets. You move with WASD and aim and fire with the mouse or arrow keys. Power-ups spawn mid-match including speed boosts, rapid fire, and temporary shields. Matches run in 5 to 10 minute rounds with a kill or base-destruction win condition. Solo play against AI is available for practice; online matchmaking pairs you with 2 to 4 human opponents. Difficulty in solo mode scales across 20 numbered mission levels. No account or installation is required; the game loads in desktop browsers. Session scores track kill counts and survival time on a per-match basis.
