Village Defense Battle is a browser-based idle roguelite shooter that requires no installation. You control a turret at the base of the screen by dragging it left and right with your mouse or finger. Enemies descend in numbered waves, and your shots travel upward through a vertical lane packed with gates. Multiplier Gates clone your bullet stream or double its damage value, while Upgrade Reward Gates pause the action and present 3 roguelite choices such as ricochet bullets, explosive radius, or reload speed boosts. Each run starts fresh, but the build you assemble through gate choices determines whether you can handle the escalating enemy count, which increases every 5 waves. Gold dropped by enemies buys permanent meta-upgrades between runs. A single run lasts 10 to 20 minutes. Difficulty ramps sharply after wave 15 as armored enemy types require stacked multipliers to kill before they reach the village.
