Zippy Bird is a browser-based arcade game in the flap-and-navigate genre. You control a small bird called Zippy, keeping it airborne by clicking the mouse or tapping the screen to produce single upward flaps against constant gravity. The level layout is an infinite procedurally generated corridor of vertical pipe pairs with gaps sized between 90 and 110 pixels. Each pipe set you pass scores 1 point. Gap alignment varies: some pairs are positioned low, others high, forcing continuous micro-adjustments. There are no checkpoints or lives system outside of a single-attempt run; any collision with a pipe or the ground ends the session and displays your score. A first-time player typically survives fewer than 10 pipes; reaching 30 is a meaningful milestone. Sessions last from a few seconds to a few minutes depending on skill. The difficulty does not have discrete levels or unlockable content; progression is purely score-based, with a local high score saved in-browser. No installation is required and it loads within seconds on standard connections.
