Battle Warship Arena is a top-down naval combat game where the loadout decides more than the shooting. Before each fight you pick from five warships and five captains, and the combinations are not cosmetic - each captain carries skills that change how the battle is fought, and each hull handles differently, so the pair you choose sets your range, your damage, and how much punishment you can absorb before you have to break off. In the arena you aim and fire with the on-screen buttons and steer by holding the wheel, which means you are always choosing between putting shots into a target and keeping the ship moving out of someone else's crossfire. Winnings from each battle go into upgrades for hull, guns, and engines, so a ship that struggled in the first arena does better in the next one. A battle runs two to four minutes.
