Challenge the Basketball is a shooting game stripped down to a hoop, a ball, and a release point. You aim and throw, and where the ball goes is decided by when you let go rather than how hard you throw - it is a timing exercise dressed as basketball. The first rounds are forgiving: the hoop sits still and the window for a clean release is wide enough that most attempts drop. Then it moves. The hoop starts sliding along its rail, the shooting angle tightens, and the window shrinks until the correct release is a fraction of a second and a miss is the normal outcome. Points come from consecutive hits rather than from distance, so the game rewards settling into a rhythm instead of taking risky shots, and a streak is worth far more than one spectacular make. There is no defender and no clock beyond the one your own misses create. A session runs two to five minutes.
