Crowd Runners 3D is a crowd game: you steer a pack of stickmen down a straight track, and the number behind you is both your score and your weapon. Gates appear in pairs or trios and each one either multiplies your crowd or cuts it, so the run is a series of quick reads - a gate that doubles forty runners is worth more than one that adds ten, and a gate that divides is only acceptable when the alternative is worse. Obstacles remove runners on contact, and you can plough through them if the crowd is big enough to absorb the loss. Enemy crowds work the same way in reverse: hit a smaller one and its stickmen join you, hit a bigger one and yours disappear. The track ends at a castle gate guarded by a King stickman, and that fight is decided by how many followers you arrived with, so a sloppy early section shows up as a loss at the end. A run takes one to two minutes.
