Dead Paradise is a browser-based side-scrolling combat racing game set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. You drive an armored car from left to right across 10 increasingly long levels while enemy vehicles attack from behind and ahead. Your car has both a primary weapon that fires automatically and a secondary weapon you activate manually. Hitting enemies earns coins; surviving to the level exit is the win condition. Between levels a garage screen lets you spend coins on five upgrade categories: engine speed, armor, primary weapon damage, secondary weapon type, and tire grip, each with multiple tiers. Later levels introduce armored trucks, exploding barrels on the road, and helicopter attacks. The difficulty ramp is steep from level 6 onward, making weapon and armor upgrades effectively mandatory. The full campaign takes 40 to 60 minutes. No download is required; the game runs in the browser using Flash-compatible or HTML5 mode depending on your browser.
