Driver Zombie Escape 2D is a browser-based top-down driving survival game where you steer a car through a post-apocalyptic road overrun by zombies. Using the arrow keys or WASD, you move up and down across a vertically scrolling lane, dodging the undead while maintaining speed. Three collectible items appear on the road: blue time-extension tokens that add seconds to your countdown timer, green speed-reducing potions that slow oncoming zombies, and red hearts that restore one unit of your three-bar health gauge. Rounds are timer-based, so running out of time ends the run regardless of health. Difficulty scales over roughly 90-second increments as zombie density increases and item spacing widens. Your score multiplies based on distance traveled and items collected. A typical session lasts 3 to 8 minutes, longer if you collect time tokens consistently. No download or install is required; the game loads entirely in the browser and saves your high score locally between sessions.
