Island Merge War is a strategy game where you place and merge matching units on a grid to produce stronger fighters and structures. Dragging two identical units together creates a single upgraded version, and the goal is building an army powerful enough to push back enemy waves attacking from across the water. Resources arrive passively and through combat, and you spend them on new base units to keep the merging chain moving. The tension comes from managing grid space: fill it too quickly with low-tier units and you block the merges needed to create high-tier fighters in time for the next attack wave. Keeping a few empty squares as buffer and merging proactively rather than reactively is the habit that separates smooth runs from chaotic ones. Sessions typically run fifteen to thirty minutes per island stage, and losing a wave does not always mean instant failure — you can sometimes recover with a strong merge burst. It suits players who enjoy merge mechanics and light tower-defense strategy without needing deep tactical knowledge to get started.
