Rescue Escape is a browser-based action puzzle game in which you direct stick-figure prisoners through trap-laden cell blocks toward a marked extraction point. Each level contains between 2 and 6 characters that you control individually by selecting them and issuing move commands, or simultaneously by activating group movement. Hazards include floor spikes that trigger on a timed cycle, horizontally moving crushers, narrow catwalks above pits, and pressure plates that open or close gates. All characters must reach the extraction point alive to unlock the exit and complete the level. Losing any single character forces a level restart. The game contains more than 40 levels organized across 5 prison zones, with new trap types introduced every 8 to 10 stages. There are no points or timers, so the emphasis is entirely on spatial planning and sequencing. A typical full playthrough takes 60 to 90 minutes. No installation is required; the game loads and runs directly in the browser.
