Zombie Royale IO is a browser-based arcade survival game where you manage a group of cartoon survivors facing escalating waves of zombies. Your side starts small, but you can rescue additional survivors as you play, growing your squad while simultaneously trying to keep everyone alive. The zombies get tougher and more numerous as rounds progress, and they will pursue your remaining survivors aggressively, so expanding your group early gives you more firepower to work with when the harder waves arrive. In addition to building up your survivor count, you can call in bombs during a run to deal with larger groups of enemies. After each round, any gold coins you have collected can be spent on upgrades that improve your survivors' capabilities for the next attempt. On PC the controls use WASD or the arrow keys for movement, with the mouse handling interactions. The stickman-style animations are fluid enough to keep the action readable even when multiple enemies are on screen at once, and the loop of surviving, collecting, upgrading, and trying again gives each session a clear sense of progression.
