Airplane Battle9 is a browser arcade shooter in which you pilot a fighter jet through wave-based enemy air assaults. Campaign mode is single-player; a second mode lets two players share one keyboard and divide control of movement and weapons between them, with Player 1 on arrow keys and Player 2 on WASD. Enemy aircraft arrive in escalating formations — early waves come in straight lines that are easy to read, while later waves use flanking patterns, faster projectiles, and more units on screen simultaneously. Shooting down enemies fills a score multiplier that resets if you take a hit, rewarding unbroken accuracy runs. Power-ups drop from destroyed planes and include spread shots, shields, and speed boosts. Each wave is numbered, and the difficulty increases noticeably every three to four waves. A session running through all waves takes roughly fifteen to twenty-five minutes depending on skill. The game runs in the browser without download.
