Astro Racing is a circuit racing game set across ten alien planets, each with its own track layout and environmental twist. You steer a spaceship through five laps per planet, using boost pads to surge ahead and trying to avoid ion clouds that temporarily reverse your controls. Finishing first on each planet opens the next one, working toward the final Warp Zone stage and the Intergalactic Champion title. Keyboard arrows handle steering and acceleration, and drifting through corners charges a small speed burst. The reversed controls from ion clouds are the sharpest difficulty spike, especially on tighter tracks where you can lose three or four positions in seconds. The best approach is to memorize where those clouds sit on the track and take a wider line to avoid them entirely rather than trying to steer through them. Early planets feel forgiving, but the AI catches mistakes aggressively by the midpoint of the campaign. A full playthrough of all ten planets takes around thirty to forty minutes if you are winning cleanly, though replaying a tricky planet a few times is common. It suits players who want a structured racing campaign rather than an endless loop.
