Battle Jitsu is a browser-based card dueling game with online multiplayer, requiring no installation. Each player builds a hand of elemental cards — fire, water, and ice — and the three elements form a rock-paper-scissors-style triangle where each beats one and loses to another. On your turn you select a card from your hand and play it face-up against your opponent's choice. Winning exchanges deal damage to the opponent's health total, and special effect cards can freeze, burn, or reduce the opponent's options for subsequent turns. Matches are played in real time against other online players, and a matchmaking system pairs you with opponents of similar rating. A single match lasts roughly three to six minutes. Strategic depth comes from predicting which element your opponent will play based on their remaining hand and the current health totals. No account is required to start playing, though registering preserves your win record.
