Cat City is a parkour platformer where you play as a street cat bounding across an urban skyline. You run, jump, and wall-jump between rooftops and alley structures, with the controls built around momentum — letting speed carry you through longer gaps rather than stopping to measure each leap. Each level has a goal point to reach, and the handcrafted stages layer in new obstacles like spinning fans, crumbling ledges, and narrow pipes as you progress. The momentum system is the main thing to internalize: approaching a jump too slowly drops you short, but misjudging speed on a narrow platform sends you off the far edge just as fast. The cat's wall-jump ability opens up recovery options that aren't obvious at first, and learning to use it reflexively rather than as a last resort makes later levels much more manageable. Levels are short enough that dying near the end stings only briefly before you restart. It suits players who enjoy tight platformer controls and don't mind repeated attempts to nail a tricky sequence.
