Dragon Warrior Tower Defense is a browser strategy game in which a giant segmented snake-like dragon advances along a fixed path toward your base. Each body segment displays its own health bar, and you must destroy segments sequentially from the head backward to stop the creature's advance. You place towers on designated grid squares beside the path, choosing from archer towers, fire cannons, and ice blasters, each with different damage types and attack ranges shown as radius circles before placement. Gold is earned by destroying segments and can be spent mid-wave on new towers or upgrades. Waves increase in segment count and total health every round, and by round 8 the dragon moves noticeably faster. There are 15 maps of increasing length and complexity, with later maps featuring branching paths and multiple entry points. A full 15-map campaign takes roughly 60 to 90 minutes. The game runs in the browser without installation, and progress within a session is saved via local storage.
