Escape the Police is a browser-based top-down racing game developed by FLGames in 2025. You play as Mr. X, a fugitive driver pursued by a growing number of police cars that spawn and accelerate in waves. The camera follows your vehicle from above as you navigate a scrolling road filled with civilian traffic, barriers, and sharp bends. Surviving longer increases your pursuit level, which adds more police units and raises their top speed. Coins scattered on the road can be collected during a run and spent between sessions on three unlockable vehicles with different handling profiles. There is no finish line; the game ends when a police car makes sustained contact with your vehicle for roughly two seconds. Your best survival time in seconds is saved locally. A typical run lasts one to three minutes for new players, with practiced drivers extending past six minutes. No download or account is required; the game runs in the browser via HTML5 and is playable on desktop with keyboard controls.
