Family Simulator Beach Games follows a family of four on holiday. You switch between mom, dad, and the two kids, and each one has their own part of the trip: one sets up the picnic spot, another collects what the others need, and the children are usually the ones who wander off and find the next thing to do. Locations are beach-side, and each is a small open area rather than a corridor - umbrellas, rocks, water, and stalls to walk up to and interact with. The activities are the usual holiday checklist, carried out as short tasks: lay out the food, hand out the plates, keep everyone fed, and explore the corners of the map for items the objectives do not point you toward. There is no fail state and no timer that ends the day, so progress is measured by how much of each destination you have covered. A location takes around ten minutes to work through.
