Head Soccer 2023 2D is a 2D physics-based soccer game playable solo against the CPU or against a second player on the same keyboard, with no download or account required. Each match is one-on-one; a single oversized character head represents each side on a compact pitch. You control movement and jumping to position your head under the ball and direct headers toward the opponent's goal while blocking their attempts. Matches run on a fixed timer, and the player with more goals when it expires wins the round. A best-of-three or single-match mode is selectable from the menu. Opponent AI escalates across a bracket of increasingly reactive goalkeepers and attackers, each with different jump height and reaction speed stats. The two-player mode uses split keyboard controls, with one player on arrow keys and the other on WASD, enabling local head-to-head competition on one device. Rounds last roughly ninety seconds, so a full three-game set takes under five minutes. Scoring is displayed live above each goal post throughout the match.
