HorrorLand Defense is a browser-based tower defense game with a horror-cartoon art style. You place living, animated defender units along a fixed path to stop waves of grotesque monsters advancing toward your safe zone. Each defender type targets enemies differently: some slow movement, some deal area damage, and some apply status effects. Monsters in later waves resist specific defender types, requiring you to diversify your loadout rather than stack a single unit. Currency for placing new defenders is earned by killing enemies; no currency carries over between the 12 main levels. Difficulty ramps sharply around level 7, when enemies begin splitting into smaller units on death. A complete playthrough of all levels takes 45 to 60 minutes. The game runs directly in a desktop browser with no download. Between levels you can sell and reposition defenders, which is essential for adapting to the changing enemy roster.
