Iron Legion is a browser-based online tank action game supporting team battles of up to 20 players in real time. You choose from more than 10 modeled tanks, each with distinct armor values, firepower, and speed stats, then drop into one of several detailed maps featuring hills, chokepoints, and destructible cover. Combat uses a realistic damage model where hits to weak spots deal extra damage, and your vehicle can lose mobility if tracks are disabled. Between matches you spend earned credits on a branching upgrade tree covering gun caliber, engine power, and hull reinforcement. Team modes task squads with controlling capture zones, while a free-for-all mode ranks players by kill count at the end of a 10-minute round. New players face a moderate learning curve around angling armor and reading terrain. The game loads in the browser via WebGL and requires no download.
