Jetpack Race Arena is a browser-based multiplayer racing game in which you pilot a jetpack-equipped character through obstacle-filled tracks against up to 3 other players or AI opponents. Each arena course contains laser gates, electric zappers, missile barrages, and boost pads, and the track loops for 3 laps per race. Coins collected mid-race are spent in the upgrade shop on faster fuel cells, larger coin magnets, and defensive shields. The gadget system offers 8 equippable items such as a temporary speed burst and a homing decoy. Mechs, wave-riders, and bullet bikes are unlockable vehicle types, each with different top-speed and maneuverability stats. The career mode spans 20 increasingly difficult arena tracks grouped into 4 cups, and finishing in the top 2 in a cup unlocks the next. Controls use WASD or arrow keys with the spacebar activating the equipped gadget. No download is required. A single 3-lap race takes roughly 3 minutes, and completing all 4 cups takes about 1.5 hours.
