Popaloon is a browser-based balloon-shooting action game with a cartoon art style and a roster of distinct weapons, each carrying its own mechanical identity and in-universe backstory. Core gameplay sends waves of balloons toward you and you shoot them down before they pass, but weapon choice meaningfully changes how you approach each wave. Clover is tuned for maximizing loot drops, Fork delivers rapid close-range bursts useful against dense clusters, and Slowleak punctures balloons slowly to extend their bleed time, which is effective against armored boss types. Bosses appear at fixed wave intervals and require specific tactics to defeat efficiently. Weapons are not locked behind a paywall; all are available from the start so you can experiment freely. Wave difficulty ramps steadily, with faster spawns and tougher balloon varieties appearing after wave 10. A score counter tracks pops per session, and a personal best is saved locally. The game runs in the browser with no installation, and a typical run lasts ten to twenty minutes.
