Tiny Word Grid is a browser crossword puzzle game structured as a sequence of self-contained grid levels, each presenting a partially filled square grid with numbered clues for across and down entries. You click a cell to select it, then type letters from your keyboard to fill in answers. Correct letters lock in green; incorrect entries stay white until corrected. Grids range from 5x5 in early levels to 9x9 in later ones, and clue difficulty progresses from common three-letter words to multi-syllable vocabulary and general-knowledge terms. Each level displays a star rating based on how many hints you used; hints highlight a single correct letter and cost one hint token, which regenerate slowly over time. A single grid typically takes two to eight minutes. Progress is saved automatically in the browser. No installation is needed.
