Neon Hockey 2 is a browser-based arcade air hockey game with a neon retro visual style and physics-based puck movement. Two modes are available: single-player against an AI opponent across three selectable difficulty levels, or local two-player on one device with split controls. Before a match you can adjust mallet size and set a maximum puck speed cap, which meaningfully changes how reactive and chaotic each game feels. The AI on higher difficulties predicts puck angles and blocks deflection shots, requiring you to vary strike angles rather than relying on power alone. Matches are played to 7 goals by default, with each goal scored visually punctuated by neon particle effects. Physics simulate realistic bank shots off the side walls, making corner placement a viable tactic. The entire game loads in the browser with no download. A single match typically takes 3 to 7 minutes. The combination of difficulty settings, mallet sizing, and speed configuration gives the game meaningful setup variety for short sessions against a friend or the CPU.
