Outbreak Ops drops you into zombie-infested maps where you move with WASD or arrow keys, aim with the mouse, and shoot down waves of infected before they close in. Ammo is finite, so you pick up drops from fallen enemies and manage your loadout carefully as the hordes grow thicker. The early maps feel manageable, but dark bunker sections cut your visibility dramatically and force you to listen for footsteps rather than rely on sight. Crowds can corner you fast if you stop moving, so constant repositioning matters more than raw firepower. Sessions run roughly ten to twenty minutes depending on how far you push before a run ends, and restarting is instant.
