PongFu is a table tennis game built around a panda character theme, played from a side-on perspective. You control your paddle by moving it up and down to return the ball, and the game adds spin and smash mechanics that let you angle shots toward the edges of the opponent's side. Winning a match requires reaching a set point total before your opponent, and the AI ramps up speed and reaction time across successive opponents. The spin system is the part that separates casual returns from actual point-winning strategy — a well-timed smash toward the far corner is nearly unreturnable at higher difficulties, but mistiming it sends the ball wide. Early opponents are slow enough to teach the mechanic, but mid-tier AI starts anticipating straightforward center shots. It suits players who enjoy arcade sports games with a bit more mechanical depth than pure reflex challenges. A single match lasts two to five minutes, and a full tournament run through several opponents takes around twenty minutes.
