Lifebuoy Planing is a browser physics arcade game in which you control an inflatable lifebuoy sliding down a water slide and launching off the end into open water. You steer left and right during the slide section using arrow keys or A and D, building speed through smooth lines and losing momentum by clipping the walls. At the launch ramp, the angle and speed you carry determine your flight distance and trick potential. Mid-air you can tilt the lifebuoy forward or back to adjust your landing angle, and a clean flat landing scores bonus distance points. Each of the game's stages features a different slide layout with sharper bends, narrower channels, or mid-slide obstacles like barriers you must dodge. A distance and score total is posted after each run, and you must meet a minimum distance threshold to unlock the next slide. Sessions are short, with individual runs lasting under 2 minutes, but optimizing a single slide for maximum distance typically requires 5 to 10 attempts. The game runs in the browser with no install.
