WarPlane is a vertical-scrolling shoot-em-up that runs in the browser without any install. You pilot a single warplane from a top-down perspective, moving it with the arrow keys or WASD while it fires automatically. Enemy aircraft, ground vehicles, and turrets appear in escalating waves across numbered stages, each ending with a harder formation or a boss unit. Destroying enemies earns points and drops power-up tokens that upgrade your weapon spread, fire rate, or add a shield charge. Losing all shield or health sends you back to the stage start. Difficulty climbs noticeably around stage four, where bullet patterns multiply and bosses require targeted weak-point fire. A single stage takes roughly two to four minutes; completing a full run of all stages takes about twenty to thirty minutes depending on skill. Scores are displayed at the end of each stage, giving a clear benchmark for improvement runs.
