Temple Escape is a chase runner where the pursuer is a fireball and the level design is the real antagonist. You sprint through temple corridors - stone corridors with collapsing sections, spike gauntlets, and turn timings that are only readable at full speed. Tap to jump, tap to turn at corners, double-tap for the acrobatic leap that clears the long traps the single jump cannot. The fireball behind you is the clock: it matches your pace and punishes every stall, so hesitating at a trap is functionally the same as falling into one. The corridors teach by escalation - early turns have generous windows, later ones demand the double-tap timed off a wall pattern you have to memorize on the previous run. Death is instant and restarts are immediate, which is the loop: the temple is deterministic, so progress is knowledge, and the run that finally clears a stretch is the run where your thumbs already knew the turns before your eyes confirmed them.
