Classic Tic Tac Toe is a browser implementation of the standard 3-by-3 grid pencil-and-paper game, playable solo against an AI opponent or against a second player sharing the same device. In single-player mode you choose to play as X or O and select from three AI difficulty levels: Easy, where the computer picks squares randomly; Medium, where it blocks obvious wins; and Hard, where it plays optimally and cannot be beaten, only drawn. In two-player mode both players take turns clicking their chosen square on the shared screen. Each match lasts under a minute, and results—win, loss, or draw—are tracked in a running session tally displayed above the board. There is no progression system, unlockable content, or scoring beyond that session counter. The interface is clean and minimal with no animations between turns, prioritizing speed of play. The game runs entirely in the browser with no download, account, or installation required, making it suitable for instant play during short breaks.
