Resource Empire is a browser-based idle mining tycoon that starts you with a single coal shaft and scales to a multi-resource empire without any download. You manually click to mine at first, then hire miners, elevator operators, and warehouse workers to automate extraction. Currency flows from coal into gold and then diamonds as you dig deeper, with each new resource tier requiring heavier capital investment. Manager NPCs, unlocked at specific revenue milestones, run individual mines autonomously so progress continues while you are offline. Investors can be brought in at key breakpoints to reset your cash in exchange for permanent multipliers, a prestige mechanic that extends replayability well past the initial 30-minute setup phase. Upgrade trees cover mining speed, shaft capacity, worker wages, and elevator throughput, giving roughly 50 distinct purchases across a full session. The game runs in any desktop browser and is designed for both active clicking sessions of 10 minutes and passive overnight accumulation.
