WHOT The Ultimate Nigerian Card Game

WHOT The Ultimate Nigerian Card Game is a browser-based implementation of the popular West African shedding card game, playable against AI opponents or real players online with no download required. Each player receives five cards from a deck containing five suits, which are circles, triangles, crosses, squares, and stars, numbered from one to fourteen plus special WHOT cards. On your turn you play a card matching either the shape or the number of the current top card on the pile. Special numbered cards trigger effects: 1 allows you to change the suit, 2 forces the next player to pick two cards, 5 skips the next player, 8 suspends a turn, and 14 is the WHOT card that lets you call any suit. If you cannot match, you draw one card from the stock. The first player to empty their hand wins the round, and points are tallied from the cards left in opponents hands over multiple rounds. The game uses neon-styled card graphics and supports background music toggling. A single round against the AI lasts roughly five minutes.
