Cake Protector is a browser-based tower defense game that runs without any download. You place traps and barriers on a fixed map to stop columns of ants from reaching your cake in the center. Controls are point-and-click: select a trap type from the sidebar, then click a tile to deploy it. Trap options include sticky patches that slow movement, snap traps that eliminate ants instantly, and barrier blocks that redirect their path. Each wave sends more ants along multiple lanes simultaneously, and by wave 5 their speed noticeably increases. Coins drop when ants are eliminated and are spent between waves on additional traps or upgrades. There are no checkpoints; if a set number of ants reach the cake the run ends and you restart from wave 1. A typical session lasts 10 to 20 minutes depending on skill. The difficulty ramps steadily, so early waves allow experimentation while later waves demand precise trap placement and fast clicking.
